I've spent most of my life along the thumbcoast of Michigan, from Anchor Bay on Lake St Clair, to the shores of Lake Huron, and the river in between. My artistic inspiration comes from being near the water, as well as dreams and visions.
The most rewarding experience of painting is not the finished canvas, but the process of painting ~ developing the idea, building the composition, and breathing life into the work thru the many layers of color glazes. When a painting “comes alive” I know I’ve hit my mark. Although I work in a variety of media, the majority of my work is acrylic painting.
